Barbara Harrmann
Assistant Director
Barbara has a Master’s degree in History and Journalism from Leipzig University. At the Institute, Barbara is responsible for the overall office management, including finance, human resources, IT coordination and event management.

Emma MacEntee
Senior Program Coordinator
Emma holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Studies from UBC. Emma coordinates the Institute’s programs and competitions and is responsible for the management of the Institute's websites.

Jana Berna
Financial & Facilities Clerk
In addition to booking and administering the Institute's conference and guest facilities, Jana takes care of the day-to-day financial transactions.

Administrative Assistant
This position, expected to be filled shortly, supports the Senior Program Coordinator and Assistant Director and provides general administrative and clerical assistance. 

Systems Coordination
Systems Coordination is in the hands of our UBC IT Client Services team.
